Register for this Class

In this class we will learn basic drawing techniques such as use of line, shading, and perspective. We will explore a variety of media including pencil, charcoal and pen and ink. We will also discuss how to choose objects to draw and set up a still life, the use of lighting, and creating an interesting narrative composition. Participants will pay a $30 fee for materials (drawing set and pad) to the instructor on the first day of class.

About the instructor:
Suzanne Altman is a painter, educator and art historian. A graphic designer for 20 years, she has a Master of Arts in Teaching and is founder of the Artworks art school in Peekskill, NY.
