Improve your balance, agility, coordination, core strength, and body flexibility with gentle, slow moving Tai chi movements from the Yang & Chen Tai Chi forms as well as Qigong movements. Class focuses on the breath and the connection between body, breath and mind, as well as posture and correct alignment to reduce back pain and protect joints from injury. Moderation is always emphasized. This class is suitable for everyone! No prior experience necessary. Learners should wear loose, comfortable clothing, sneakers, and bring a water bottle. About the instructor: Charlene is a certified teacher of the American Tai Chi & Qigong Association. She has practiced both Tai Chi & Qigong for the past 28 yrs in the Yang and Chen forms, and has taught for more than a decade in Central Mass and Cape Cod.
