This is a time to celebrate our winsome pets! Dennis artist Patty Barnes, renowned for her whimsical style, leads this painting workshop which is open to all and is suitable for beginners to experienced painters. Patty will guide participants on how to paint their pet to create a delightful keepsake. The instructor will provide all materials. Participants should bring a photograph of their pet. 

About the instructor: Patricia Barnes, an award-winning oil painter, studied watercolor, drawing, and oil painting at Marymount College, Tarrytown, NY, graduating with a BFA in Art History. Barnes earned her Master's Degree at the University of Wisconsin. Her work has sold nationally and internationally. Barnes specializes in oils that capture the heart of Cape Cod expressed through light and color— often with a touch of whimsy.

Barnes’ work is available at The Cape Cod Museum of Art in Dennis, MA, She is a juried member of the American Impressionist Society, Inc., Oil Painters of America, and the Cape Cod Art Center.
