In this class, you’ll learn how to see through the marketing smoke and mirrors and interpret the Nutrition Facts label through hands-on activities, lecture, and Q&A. (Class may extend past 7PM if participants would like to continue the discussion!)
About the instructor: Jeanne Schumacher, MA, Ed.D., has taught chemistry, biology and environmental science for more than 30 years. She started following a plant-based diet in 2009 and is committed to inspiring others to change their health destiny though a whole-foods, plant-based lifestyle. Jeanne earned a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate through the eCornell Center for Nutritional Studies.
