Take the first step toward a healthier, more vibrant life! Supported by strong scientific evidence, a whole-food, plant-based diet has been shown to help prevent, manage, and even reverse chronic diseases like type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. This course offers the tools, tips, and motivation to make lasting change—without relying on willpower alone. In this class, you’ll watch and taste as we prepare delicious, easy Simply Sweet Potato Stew with Brown Rice and Apple & Date Surprise using an instant pot and traditional cooking pot. You'll learn about the science behind plant-based eating and chronic disease prevention and how to prepare your kitchen for success by stocking your fridge, pantry, and freezer with nourishing plant-based essentials. You’ll also learn why willpower isn’t the key to success—and what actually works when creating sustainable lifestyle habits.

Note that session may go slightly shorter or longer than scheduled, depending on discussion.

Class meets on 1/28.
